plants! plants! plants!

One of the best parts of moving to California is that I can grow plants outside all year long. Not all plants of course, but I did find a few varieties that are able to withstand the "winter" here.
My little microgreens sprouted so quickly inside. This is how they looked just 3 days after planting the seeds.

BK wanted a little citrus tree. He was hoping for more of a straight-up lime but opted for a Rangpur lime, which is not actually a true lime. The fruit is round and orange. I think it will still taste good in cocktails.

Look at those cute little fruits already!

Lettuce!

Swiss chard and little English sweet peas.
I've also got another big thing of microgreens going, some more swiss chard and some lovely looking purple kale.
